    MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Almost 100 domestic abuse incidents are reported to Merseyside police every day. We want to reduce the number of victims of abuse in Merseyside and believe that raising awareness is an essential and positive way of doing this. By delivering various programmes and awareness and training courses to other professionals, schools, youth hubs, community centres and churches we are impacting our communities and culture, affecting lives for good and reducing the risks of abuse and changing people’s understanding and attitudes and opinions of domestic abuse.  We need to open our eyes to what is going on around us and help stop things before they even start.  Raising awareness is a hugely significant key in creating a crucial detour away from becoming a victim of domestic abuse – early intervention matters if we are to see things change.  It is so important we get the message out, get the help to those who need it – so we can change lives, save lives. Working within local communities is going to provide us with the opportunity to do just that.

Please call 07731878076 or email programmes@thecrossingpoint.co.uk  if you would like us to come and deliver any training and awareness programmes
