How does your church view domestic abuse? What is your church’s level of awareness of it? Is it ever talked about? Domestic abuse is often seen as a taboo subject within church but one in four churchgoers have experienced abuse! This training day will help you ‘unpack’ domestic abuse, looking at types of abuse, including spiritual abuse, the effects, the root of abuse and the misunderstandings that surround it. It will encourage you to face the challenges it brings, both inside and outside your church.
