Our charity is all about helping those who’ve experienced abuse and also raising awareness. We spend our time going into schools to talk about healthy relationships and the signs and effects of domestic abuse, how to get help and support. In our local community we run courses on understanding domestic abuse and run recovery programmes for those wanting to heal from the effects of their experiences as well as providing emotional support for individuals. We offer training to churches as to how they can be a support to those affected by abuse. All our services are free so that no one is limited by the constraints of finance.
On 16th June one of our lovely volunteers, Teresa along with myself will be taking up the challenge of the 20km Wirral Coastal Walk to raise funds for The Crossing Point. We’d love for you to support us in this and sponsor us. You can give through our Just Giving page or if you prefer to get in touch directly you can email info@thecrossingpoint.co.uk or call us on 07731878076. Domestic abuse is everybody’s business and you can help make a difference by adding your support to this fundrasing event. Diane Jones, TCP Charity Manager
